Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the EngageFlow AI Chrome extension ("the extension", "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension and do not use it.

2. Description of Service

EngageFlow AI is a Chrome browser extension that:

• Reads visible content from LinkedIn and X (Twitter) pages you browse
• Sends that content to the Anthropic Claude API using your API key to generate AI-powered reply suggestions and post drafts
• Optionally reads your own LinkedIn profile to build a writing voice profile
• Stores drafts and settings locally in your browser

The extension is a standalone client-side tool. It has no EngageFlow AI backend, account system, or subscription service.

3. Your API Key and Costs

You must provide your own Anthropic API key. You are solely responsible for:

• All API usage costs incurred through your key
• Keeping your API key secure
• Complying with Anthropic's Usage Policy

We have no access to your API key and cannot be held responsible for unauthorized use.

4. Third-Platform Terms of Service

The extension reads page content from LinkedIn and X via your browser's DOM — content already loaded in your active browser session. This action is user-initiated and not automated. Nevertheless:

• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with LinkedIn's User Agreement
• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with X's Terms of Service
• EngageFlow AI is not responsible for account suspension, restrictions, or legal action by these platforms

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the extension to:

• Generate spam, mass unsolicited messages, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
• Impersonate other people or create deceptive content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Circumvent platform rate limits or access controls at scale
• Scrape or export data from LinkedIn or X for commercial resale
• Violate Anthropic's Usage Policy

6. Intellectual Property

Content you generate using the extension belongs to you. The extension software is proprietary to EngageFlow AI. LinkedIn, X, and Anthropic are trademarks of their respective owners; this extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, APPROPRIATE, OR SUITABLE FOR POSTING. AI outputs may be incorrect, biased, or inappropriate — always review before posting.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENGAGEFLOW AI AND ITS AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA, ACCOUNT SUSPENSION BY LINKEDIN OR X, API COSTS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM POSTED AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the extension shall not exceed USD $10.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EngageFlow AI and its author from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the extension, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third party's rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the extension without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the author resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
